Hexagons are all the rage.  They rank right up there with the chevrons.  The Six Sided Sampler Bundle from Stampin’ Up! sure has fixed me up.  Last month my scrapbook club girls made this page with the new stamp and hexagon punch in the bundle.

I started out this page by using the colors from the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper to stamp out the hexagon images with the Six Sided Sampler Stamp Sent and then punched them out with the Hexagon Punch.  Then added some cute elements using the DSP and finished it all off with a few bits of Epic Day This and That Washi Tape and an array of flowers that I created with the Flower Shop Stamp Set and the Pansy Punch.

And looky what I did for the flower center.  Yep you guessed it I used some Simply Pressed Clay that I colored with a few drops of Daffodil Delight re-inker and made a rosette from the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds.

TIP:

After you fill the mold with the clay put in the freezer for about 5 minutes, pull it out and pop out the flower.  Leave it to dry.  It will still feel spongy when it’s dry.

Super cute huh!

Of course I also made several cards with these stamp sets but you are just going to have to stay tuned to see those.

Happy Stampin’
