Step into a Magnolia Mood with me this week as I dive into the enchanting world of the Magnolia Mood Bundle, a delightful On-Line Exclusive from Stampin’ Up! Released just a few weeks ago, this set instantly captured my heart – after all, who can resist the timeless elegance of magnolias?
For my crafting therapy this week, I decided to explore the versatility of this bundle by creating two captivating birthday cards and an interactive treat box. Let’s dive in!
First up is a card that combines the Magnolia Mood Stamp Set with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. I wanted to create a leaf spray that would truly stand out, so I reached for my stash of 2023-2035 In Color Luster Paper, adding a touch of shimmer behind the stamped image.
A pop of color with Stampin’ Blends brought the magnolia to life, while a ribbon strip in the background added texture and visual interest. And of course, no birthday card is complete without a sprinkle of Opaque Oval Embellishments for that extra dose of charm.
Next, I decided to infuse a bit of fun into my second card by creating a window card look. Using the Everyday Details dies, I fashioned a window frame that perfectly accentuated the designer paper, while being surrounded by the lovely Lustre Paper for that added touch of elegance.
Another stamped image from the Magnolia Mood Set, colored delicately with Stampin’ Blends, adorned the frame beautifully. A few leaves die-cut from the Lustre Paper added a final flourish, and with the addition of Opaque Ovals, this happy birthday card was ready to dazzle.
Now, let’s talk about that treat box – isn’t it just fantastic? I’m all about creating a memorable presentation, and this interactive treat box is truly a mint. Pun intended!
Just picture the look of pure awe on the face of that special person when they pull on the tab and out pops the mint. It’s the kind of delightful surprise that adds an extra layer of joy to any occasion.
