I almost didn’t get this Magical Day Bundle since I don’t have that many young children in the family right now but I couldn’t resist how sweet it is and the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper and that oh so lovely Glimmer Paper were the deal closer for sure.
Once I started playing with it I really started to see how versatile it really is since there is always that child in us that would love to receive a fanciful card.
Can’t you just see the wet bubbles in that desinger paper. Each of the sheets has some sort of special effect. For this card I paired it up with the FREE framelits, Celebrate You, from this year’s Sale-a-bration sale.
And of course I used the all new Stampin’ Blends to color the images. For coloring the mermaid I started with coloring the center with Dark Daffodil Delight then outlined it with Dark Bermuda Bay and then blended that into the Daffodil with the Light Bermuda Bay. If you cover too much of the Daffodil no worries, you can just go back over it again to bring it to the surface. That’s the beauty of the Blends, they don’t pick up the other colors they just lay down more color.
