Wouldn’t it be nice to just have a few special decorating items when those special dates come along. Well these two projects have certainly fit the bill for me. The birthdays in my house are mostly near another holiday so there is already some sort of décor going on but I like this just to celebrate a little bit more with a personal touch.
This is another printers tray with Birthday inserts which has been on ongoing series of projects since last fall and I’m very happy with the way it turned out. When I saw the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper in the new catalog I new exactly what I was going to make with it.
I have been hosting classes frequently for the inserts ever since Stampin’ Up! offered them as a special promotion last fall and each one gets more exciting than the last one.
I also have been asked a zillion times if I could add more guests to the class. I would love to except the printers trays are no longer available. A total bummer.
But I was never one to let something that small stand in my way of making someone happy so I came up with an alternate option last month. These lovely framed Samplers.
Isn’t this just the bomb? Again the Birthday Basics Designer Paper was my starting point as I am very drawn to the colors in that pack. Not to mention it is just so much fun. Last month I used the Gingham Garden Designer Paper to start the Printers Tray Project and of course had to have a matching sampler to go with that one too. I forgot to photograph if to include in my previous post so here it is now.
Happy Stampin’

Check out the photo that Stampin’ Up! is using with the DSP Sale. Look familiar? It’s the Birthday Basics patterns that I used for the Birthday Printers Tray and Birthday Sampler in this month’s class.
How fun is that!!!
