Hello, crafty friends, and welcome back to Makin’ It Monday! Today, we’re diving into a project that’s all about elegance and tranquility, brought to you by some fabulous freebies! Yet, it remains a clean and simple card.
For this card, I’ve opted for a subtle yet sophisticated look using the Softly Sophisticated stamp set, which you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying purchase. Who doesn’t love a good deal, right? Paired with the oh-so-soft Boho Blue cardstock, it creates a tranquil feeling that’s simply irresistible.
With just one stamp set and two ink colors, I decided to take it up just a teeny tiny notch by adding some texture with a clean embossing folder. And let me tell you, the embossing folder is another free item that comes bundled with the Softly Sophisticated stamp set – talk about a sweet deal!
But wait, there’s more! I couldn’t resist adding a touch of elegance with a simple knot of ribbon because, let’s face it, a little bit of textile goes a long way in crafting. Tell me just how could I resist. Oh wait you must know me.
So, let’s talk about the co-star of the show – the Thoughtful Expressions Die Set. OMG, this set is AMAZING! It’s versatile, it’s essential, and it’s definitely going to become one of my favorites. Plus, it’s also the star of this month’s Craft Class of the Month – talk about perfect timing!
