Each month my Stampers Club Hostesses get together and learn fun and exciting techniques. Don’t we just all love to learn new ways to play with our toys. This month’s features were Faux Silk and Aged Paper Flowers. Since we are coming close to Valentines Day of course it was a must for at least one of the cards to celebrate the love.
This is so simple. I just stamped the flower images from With All My Heart (118134) onto tissue paper. Then crumpled up the tissue paper, unfolded it and glued it onto my piece of cardstock. I glued mine stamped images down for a softer look and stamped my verse from Word Play (120308) on top after I put the tissue paper down.
For the ribbon I just trimmed off one edge and pulled some of the threads away to create the “fringe”.
