Don’t you just love it when you get inspired by a card and create another beautiful one because of it. I am very pleased with the way this thank you card turned out.
I had just a few sheets of my coveted Sale-a-bration Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum left but this card was just calling it’s name.
To adhere the vellum only add adhesive to the center area that will be covered by the upper elements this way your adhesive won’t show thru.
There are 2 things that really surprised me on this card. First was the stamp set I used for the flowers. It’s call Number of Years and who would think that name meant flowers. There are some awesome watercolor style images that you can use to create the flower spray with all sorts of flowers.
And the second surprise was using the new Timeless Textured Stamp Set. This is another must have for your stamp collection. I used this set to add some hidden texture by way of the grid pattern at the bottom of tag with Blushing Bride ink and the swirls with Hello Honey ink.
I added some Lost Lagoon DSP, Venetian Lace Ribbon and a Itty Bitty Accent punch flower with a pearl over the butterfly to add a pop of color.
How it’s made:
Card Base is Hello Honey 4 1/4 x 8 1/2
Vellum is 4 x 5 1/4
Tag and butterfly are with Very Vanilla
Greeting is stamped with Tip Top Taupe
Inks: Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Hello Honey, Blushing Bride, Tip Top Taupe
